Rue Hégésippe-Moreau is located in the heart of a traditional working-class district that, over the past 15 years, has evolved alongside the rise of the Batignolles quarter and has become home to a thriving creative scene. These alternative Parisian markets have become particularly popular with French new-economy companies, which thus represent the target audience for the HM19 project.
The goal of the architects was to create a dialog between historical and modern architecture and to merge the existing, characteristic brick structure with the new wooden structure. This dialogue between light and heavy, modern and traditional, is also reflected in the typography and the two levels of the logo. The picture mark is iconic and special, and takes its own space equally determined, as the building in its architectural context does.
The colour scheme reflects the creative environment and confidently appeals to a young generation of entrepreneurs. It adds a graphic dimension to the natural and understated materiality of the architecture.
The perfect office is all about balance.
The balance of flexibility, quality and sustainability.
